The fine print, in plain words.

If there's lightning, high wind or anything else unsafe on the day, we reschedule for free. I'll message you the day before if it looks doubtful. Your retainer moves with you.

If you need to move your session for another reason, tell me as early as you can and we'll find another day.

The meeting spot and time are sent only in your private confirmation email and are never posted publicly. A first meeting with a new adult client is always somewhere public.

If the person being photographed is under 18, a parent or guardian books the session, signs anything that needs signing, and receives the gallery too.

About two weeks after your session, you get a private gallery link and a typed code. Each person in the booking gets their own. You can view your gallery for as long as I'm in business; downloads are open for one year, and I can reopen them any time.

Your link is personal. To show family, use “Share with family” in the gallery, which makes a separate link you can take back later. If a link ends up somewhere it shouldn't, tell me and I'll replace it.

If your package includes picks, you choose them in the gallery and I retouch and re-deliver them on the same link.

I keep the copyright in every photograph, and you get a personal-use license for yours. The details are on the licensing page.

Your photos are private to you unless you tell me otherwise. A photograph of you is shown publicly only with your signed release, and you can withdraw it at any time. See privacy.

The words and photographs on this site belong to Aurelia Dougan. Please don't copy them, scrape them or use them to train software.
