Hi, I'm Aurelia.

I photograph seniors, couples and families on Florida's Atlantic coast. Before I lift the camera, I look at where the lines run: the shoreline, a railing, the horizon. Then I work out where you go in the frame. Sometimes that's the middle. More often it's off to one side, with open space where you're looking, or small against the water.\n\nYou don't need to know how to pose. I give small, plain directions (walk toward me, sit down, look back over your shoulder) and keep shooting through what happens in between. The laugh you didn't plan is usually the frame I keep.\n\nI shoot on a Canon EOS R6 Mark II, and sometimes I slow the shutter and let you blur. Then I edit every photograph myself: color kept honest, black and white toned like a print, and grain you can see. Your photos are private to you unless you tell me otherwise.
